Demeo LLP is a law firm specializing in complex commercial litigation. The Firm represents local, national and multinational companies in litigation matters. Joseph L. Demeo founded the Firm in 1997 after practicing with the Boston law firm of Mintz Levin Cohn Ferris Glovsky and Popeo, P.C., in the firm's litigation section since 1992. There he represented a variety of business interests in complex civil litigation in state and federal court.
Mr. Demeo left Mintz Levin to build this Firm, which opened in January 1997 on Beacon Hill in Boston. The Firm has since grown to ten attorneys and continues to expand to meet client needs. In 1998, the Firm moved to historic Lewis Wharf and most recently the Firm relocated to expanded space at 200 State Street. In 2007, the Firm added a bankruptcy practice, which includes a senior attorney and a Chapter 7 Trustee. In 2014, the Firm added a white collar criminal defense practice.
