Definition - What does Eviction mean?

Eviction is a term which refers to expelling someone from using a property. This can be done in number of ways, but is usually done by taking a legal action against the person using the property (the tenant). It is important to note that the reasons for the eviction and the eviction process itself can vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction.
