Definition - What does Implied mean?

The term implied means conduct, statements, or circumstances of either one or both the parties used to substitute explicit language to prove warranty, authority to act, consent, promise, etc. Implied means putting something forward in a way that may be considered lesser in intensity, but carries the same meaning.

Justipedia explains Implied

It can be explained with a simple example. When you go into a retail store and you see something you like, you might talk with someone that is an employee. If they offer you a discount, the idea is implied that they have authority on behalf of the retail establishment to do so although the retail establishment owner did not tell you directly that their employees have that authority.
