Definition - What does Vessel Hull Design Protection Act (VHDPA) mean?

The Vessel Hull Design Protection Act is part five (Title V) of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. It allows the designer of an original vessel to gain a copyright over the design within two years of it being produced.
