Adam started with the firm at its inception in 1990 and became a partner in 1993. One hundred percent of Adam’s practice is devoted to trial work with an emphasis on cases involving toxic torts, product liability and catastrophic injuries. He regularly handles cases in Alabama state and federal courts, as well as other state and federal courts throughout the South. In addition to many cases in Alabama, he has taken cases to defense verdicts in Florida, Mississippi, Tennessee and Texas. Adam was one of the lead trial lawyers on an environmental contamination case involving thousands of individual plaintiffs that was the largest and longest-running trial in Alabama history. Adam is a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers, one of the premier legal associations in America. He is listed in the 2015 Alabama edition of Best Lawyers in America for Environmental, Personal Injury and Product Liability and has been listed in the Alabama edition of Super Lawyers for Personal Injury Defense: Products every year since 2008. Adam’s product liability and personal injury experience also has been highlighted in the current edition of Benchmark Litigation and Chambers and Partners. Adam also has been elected to The Fellows of the American Bar Foundation.
