Attorney Clements was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. In High School, she became a member of its law program and was a member of the school's mock trial team. In college, she participated in an internship through the Boston University International Program in Washington, D.C. for Congresswoman Cardiss Collins of Illinois. Attorney Clements also participated in an internship for the New York City Tort Department. While attending law school, Attorney Clements participated in an internship for the Chief Court Attorney in the New York City Criminal Court. Attorney Clements earned appointment by the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court as a Rule 3:03 Student Practitioner, interning as a victim/witness advocate in the Lowell District Court, assisting those in need with civil restraining orders.
