Alexandra Blanco was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She graduated summa cum laude from The George Washington University, where she obtained a B.A. in Psychology. During her time at George Washington, Alexandra studied philosophy and war studies at University of London King’s College. Alexandra also worked for the U.S. Department of Justice in Money Laundering and Asset Forfeiture and Division. Prior to attending law school, Alexandra worked as the Assistant Executive Director of the International Association for Asset Recovery, an international certification association dedicated to training government and private sector professionals in the financial crime field.
In 2010, Alexandra attended law school at Fordham University School of Law in New York City. During law school, Alexandra was member and coach of a top-ranked Arbitration Competition Team. She competed in Hong Kong at the 2011-2012 Willem C. Vis International Arbitration and received an Honorable Mention for Best oral Advocate. Alexandra was also a member of the Fordham Intellectual Property, Media & Entertainment Law Journal and the Latin American Law School Association as Editor and Co-Coach of the 2012-2013 Arbitration Competition Team.
