Ms. Newhall is a 2009 cum laude graduate of the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond. Prior to joining Colten Cummins Watson & Vincent P.C., Ms. Newhall served as a law clerk for the Honorable Frederick G. Rockwell, III of the 12th Judicial Circuit in Chesterfield County. Ms. Newhall is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Ms. Newhall joined the firm of Colten Cummins Watson and Vincent as an associate of the firm in November of 2010.
Ms. Newhall’s practice focuses solely on family law matters including divorce; custody, visitation and support matters; property division; post-divorce modification and enforcement; as well as protective orders. She routinely argues motions in all local courts (Fairfax, Arlington, Alexandria, Prince William, & Loudoun) as well as having tried cases before both the Circuit Courts and Juvenile and Domestic Relations Courts in these districts.
Ms. Newhall is a member of the American Bar Association, The Virginia State Bar, the Fairfax County Bar Association, including the Young Lawyer’s Section and the Family Law Section of the Fairfax Bar Association, the Fairfax County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court Committee, the Northern Virginia Black Attorneys Association, the Tulane University Alumni Association and the University of Richmond School of Law Alumni Association.
