Amanda grew up in Lugoff, South Carolina. She graduated from Presbyterian College in 2008, majoring in Business Administration. While at Presbyterian College, Amanda was involved in several activities, including Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority, Society for the Advancement of Management, and several honor societies. Amanda attended the University of South Carolina School of Law where she was a competitor in the Mock Trial Bar and received CALI awards in 3 courses: Sales, Problems in Professional Responsibility, and Advanced Legal Writing. After graduating in 2012, Amanda practiced civil litigation and family law at a firm in Lexington, SC. As an associate at McDonald, McKenzie, Rubin, Miller, & Lybrand, Amanda focuses her practice on Civil Litigation, Subrogation, Bankruptcy, and Family Law. She is a member of the Richland County Bar Association and the South Carolina Bankruptcy Law Association.
