Andrew S. Wier
Andrew Wier is an associate at the firm’s Kenosha office whose practice includes all types of personal injury claims. Prior to joining Habush Habush & Rottier S.C., Mr. Wier served for five years as an Assistant District Attorney in the Racine County District Attorney’s Office. He primarily prosecuted impaired driving and domestic violence cases and conducted approximately 20 jury trials as solo counsel.
Mr. Wier received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin Law School. While a law student Andrew worked in the Wisconsin Department of Justice, the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Wisconsin, and the Rock County District Attorney’s Office and was an active participant in the law school’s Mock Trial team. He received a B.A. in History, Political Science, and African American studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Recently, two articles he co-wrote with attorney Jesse Blocher entitled “Earn Your Stripes, Part 1: How to Get Civil Trial Experience” and “Earn Your Stripes, Part 2: How to Get Through a Civil Trial” were published in Wisconsin Lawyer.
