Anne handles a variety of immigration matters including removal defense, family-based immigration, naturalization, and humanitarian benefits such as asylum, TPS, VAWA, and U visas. Anne’s practice is informed by her experience working within the immigration court system as an Attorney Advisor for the USDOJ Executive Office for Immigration Review prior to joining WLG. Anne has particular interests in the intersection of criminal and immigration law, and litigation. She has successfully challenged adverse agency determinations at the Board of Immigration Appeals and in the federal courts. Prior to studying law, Anne spent two years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in rural Niger where she worked with local partners to promote girls’ education, hosted a weekly radio show in Hausa, and learned to love millet.
