B. Seth Harp, Jr.
Seth Harp was a partner at the firm for more than thirty years. He is accomplished in the practice of family law and taxation as it relates to family law.
Seth served as a State Senator for the 29th District of Georgia until 2010. In the Senate, he served as chairman of the Higher Education Committee and vice chairman of the Judiciary Committee. He was also a member of the Government Oversight, Special Judiciary, Joint Legislative Ethics and Appropriations Committees.
Seth is an author and lecturer on taxation and family law. He is listed in the Best Lawyers in America and Martindale-Hubbell’s Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers in the areas of civil law and family law. He has been an officer in and is a member of the Georgia Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Law. Seth is a Certified Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Seth is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of the United States; the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit; the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit; the United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia; the Supreme Court of the State of Georgia; the Court of Appeals for the State of Georgia; and all other Georgia courts.
