Benjamin M. Wilkinson
Ben is an associate attorney with a varied litigation practice encompassing representation in areas including personal injury, creditors' rights & collection, and employment discrimination. Prior to joining Drake Loeb PLLC, he served as a judicial intern with the Honorable Cecelia G. Morris (U.S. Bankruptcy Judge for the Southern District of New York) and a judicial extern for the Honorable Denise L. Cote (U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of New York).
In addition to his full-time practice, Ben also devotes time to serving as a judge for the annual University of Rochester invitational mock trial tournament. Ben explains that it is through this service that he has a deeper understanding of how to be an effective attorney for his clients. As he explains,"I enjoy taking the time to judge and mentor young adults interested in a legal career. When I see them presenting their arguments in this setting, when I am persuaded by their aggressiveness, it reinforces my own beliefs on what it takes to be an effective advocate for your clients - confidence, professionalism and a passion for advocacy. Clients, as well as judges, recognize these qualities, and it is what they seek in an attorney."
