Brent M. Tunis was born in Davenport, Iowa. He graduated from the University of Iowa in 2012 with a B.B.A. in Finance with distinction, and with a minor in Political Science. In 2015, Brent received his J.D. from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana. While there he served as a Managing Editor on the Board of Editors for the Indiana Law Journal, the school’s flagship journal. Brent received Dean’s Honors in two semesters and was awarded the CALI Award for the Highest Grade in Class three times: for Sales, Secured Transactions, and Real Estate Finance. While in Bloomington, Brent also served as the Law Clerk for Kelley & Belcher, doing general litigation work, and served as the Research Assistant to Professor Leandra Lederman, Director of the Tax Program at IU.
