Brent W. Boncher
Brent concentrates his practice in the areas of contract law, construction law, ERISA and employment law, personal injury, real estate law, business counseling, trusts and estates, sales law, and civil rights. He has been practicing since 2002 and holds a University of Michigan B.A. degree and a Wayne State University Juris Doctorate. He is well-seasoned, handling numerous cases in the federal 6th Circuit appellate court as well as the Michigan Court of Appeals. He has been involved in cases in approximately 20 of the 83 counties in the State.
Brent has devoted much of his after-hours time to serving the local people of Rockford through his community work and involvement in local government. He is currently a Trustee for Courtland Township, is the Township’s representative on the Metro Council, and served on the Zoning Board of Appeals from 2009 to 2013, most of the time as its chair. Since 2009 he has served as the chair of the Parks and Recreation Committee where he is spearheading an initiative for a million-plus dollar recreational trails project in the Township which involves funding and grant work, public outreach, and cooperative work with adjoining municipalities.
