Bridget Remington practices marital and family law exclusively, including appeals. Before making the switch to family law, she spent many years litigating complex business and insurance coverage disputes, with a focus on appellate and federal practice, at large national law firms. Although Bridget enjoyed the intellectual challenge of complex litigation, her career before law school as a teacher and parenting educator influenced her decision to become a family law attorney, where she could put her talents to use helping individuals and families during what can be one of the most stressful times in their lives.
Because of her background in complex business litigation, Bridget understands the intricacies of the various financial issues that can arise in divorces, including valuing business interests, tracing substantial assets, and evaluating different sources of income. Bridget also understands that more than money is at stake in a divorce. Bridget genuinely cares for the well-being of her clients and their children and is constantly mindful of their interests – legal, financial, and personal – when counseling and advocating for them
