Catherine A. Gaul
Catherine is a member of the firm's Corporate Litigation and Counseling group. Her practice is focused primarily in the Delaware Court of Chancery and involves the representation of corporations, directors and stockholders, and their alternative-entity counterparts, in fiduciary duty litigation and statutory proceedings under Delaware law. She also litigates business-related matters in Delaware’s state and federal courts, and has taken key roles on appeals to the Delaware Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. In 2013, Catherine was appointed by the Court of Chancery as a Special Master to gather the books and records of a Delaware corporation, determine its rightful stockholders, and convene an annual meeting for the election of directors.
A native of Wilmington, Catherine has served on the board of a local non-profit and provided pro bono services through the Delaware Office of the Child Advocate.
