Charles is an associate of the firm who handles a variety of business litigation and personal injury matters. He is a member of the Florida Bar and is licensed to practice in all Florida state courts. Notably, upon passing the Florida Bar Examination with one of the highest scores in Florida, Chief Judge Joseph Lewis Jr. invited Charles to participate in the First District Court of Appeal’s new attorney induction ceremony as an honorary speaker. Prior to joining FERRELLE BURNS, Charles started his legal career as an intern for Magistrate Judge Joel B. Toomey of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Later, Charles worked as a law clerk for Adecco Group, N.A., which is a regional division of the largest staffing company in the world. At Adecco, Charles drafted, negotiated, and reviewed a wide variety of business contracts—including employment agreements, staffing agreements, non-disclosure agreements, indemnity agreements, and limitation of liability agreements. Most recently, Charles has worked as a law clerk at FERRELLE BURNS, where he was able to thoroughly involve himself with the firm’s cases and garner a high degree of practical experience.
