Chidi I. James
Mr. James primarily practices in the area of serious personal injury litigation. He also serves as a military lawyer in the Virginia Air National Guard, as the Deputy Staff Judge Advocate for the 192nd Fighter Wing at Langley AFB, Virginia. Mr. James currently serves as an adjunct law professor at the George Washington University School of Law in Washington, DC where he teaches a class on drafting and interpreting contracts. He has also coached George Mason University Trial Advocacy Teams since 2001 and guest-lectured in Marymount University’s graduate Forensic Psychology Department as well as Bowie State University’s Department of Criminology.He is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the District of Columbia and is a member of the following associations: American Association for Justice (AAJ); Virginia Trial Lawyers Association (VTLA – Board of Governors 2009-2011); Northern Virginia Black Attorneys Bar Association (NOVABAA – President – 2008-2010); the Old Dominion Bar Association (ODBA - Board of Governors 2010-2011); the Fairfax County Bar Association; and the Prince William County Bar Association. Mr. James is admitted to practice before the Virginia Supreme Court, The District of Columbia Court of Appeals, The US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, The US Court of Appeals for The Armed Services, and the Air Force Court of Criminal Appeals.
