Christina M. Cameron
Ms. Cameron focuses her area of practice in the firm’s Municipal Law and Government Relations Group.
Before obtaining her law degree, Ms. Cameron spent more than 19 years as a policy advisor to various City of San Diego elected officials. She served on the staff of Mayor Maureen O’Connor, as director of community outreach and community affairs, and as Chief of Staff to former Councilmember Harry Mathis and to Council President Scott Peters.
Under Councilman Peters, Ms. Cameron also served as Committee Consultant to the Land Use & Housing, Strong Mayor Transition, and Rules Committees. She was the primary advisor to Council President Peters during San Diego’s transition from a City Manager to Strong Mayor/Strong Council form of government and on California Coastal Policy during Peters’ service on the California Coastal Commission from 2002 through 2005.
