Clifton M. Decker
"We are faced with new and complex challenges every day at CWP, and addressing these challenges helps us to become better lawyers."
Clifton Decker has a degree in biochemistry and previously held active real estate and securities licenses before becoming a lawyer. His scientific background gives him a better grasp of the technical issues he faces on a daily basis, while his real estate and investment backgrounds give him a better grasp of the real-world business implications of the decisions he and CWP make on behalf of their clients.
Mr. Decker’s practice focuses primarily on three areas: 1) coverage and large loss subrogation matters; 2) local and state government law; and 3) family law. Against the backdrop of this diverse practice, he has successfully helped clients achieve their goals and protect their interests at both the trial court level and appellate court level. Mr. Decker credits his success to approaching each case with a fresh perspective, rejecting complacency and the form-based approach that plagues many lawyers today. While only seven years into his career, he is already recognized as an upcoming leader among lawyers in this state and uses his leadership abilities to obtain success for his clients.
