Clyde Blackmon began the private practice of law in 1969. Before commencing private practice he was a Ford Foundation intern with the California Legislature and served as a consultant to various legislative committees, including the Assembly Committee on Criminal Procedure. He has handled virtually every kind of criminal matter during his 43 year career as a criminal defense lawyer in Sacramento and throughout Northern California. The cases he has defended include everything from driving under the influence to death penalty prosecutions and major white collar investigations and trials. His practice involves pre-charging investigations, trials, writs, and appeals in both state and federal courts.
