Daniel Bernstein focuses his practice on litigation, health care and labor and employment law. He counsels and represents clients on a wide range of matters involving corporate governance and compliance; wage and hour issues under state and federal law; pension benefits; the New York and Federal Fair Credit Reporting Acts; employee handbook drafting and review; and unemployment insurance matters. He also represents clients in union-related matters including grievance arbitrations and unfair labor practice proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board.
Dan interned with the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit for the late Honorable Roger Miner, the New York State Public Employment Relations Board and the State University of New York’s Office of General Counsel.
Before joining ICRH, Dan was an associate in the Albany office of Bond, Schoeneck & King.
