Daniel K. Boda
Dan grew up in Dayton, Ohio. He received his undergraduate degree from Ashland University in 1972 and his law degree from the Moritz College of Law at The Ohio State University in 1974.
Dan began his practice in Columbus in 1975. In 1979 he formed a partnership with two of his Ashland University classmates, Jack Allen and Bill Catalano. They practiced continuously together with John Mitchell, as Mitchell, Allen, Catalano and Boda until 2008. At that time, Jack Allen left the firm to become an Administrative Law Judge for the Social Security Administration. Dan and Bill then merged with the firm of Pencheff and Fraley, forming the present firm.
Dan has spent his career as a trial lawyer. He has extensive experience in handling criminal, personal injury and worker’s compensation appeals to court. He has tried lawsuits in many Ohio counties, Federal District court and several other states. Currently, he focuses his practice on representing people appealing denials of social security disability claims. He publishes a monthly newsletter to professionals in the area of social security disability and is a frequent presenter at various social service agencies on social security disability topics.
