David S. Blinka
David Blinka is an associate in the firm’s Madison office where he has worked since 2012. Mr. Blinka’s practice encompasses a variety of personal injury cases ranging from motor vehicle accidents to premises liability, in addition to mass tort litigation. He recently assisted in achieving a successful settlement of claims for over 200 property owners in the Town of Jackson, Wisconsin, who were impacted by groundwater contamination arising from the release of gasoline from a pipeline that ruptured.
Prior to joining Habush Habush & Rottier, Mr. Blinka dedicated his efforts to serving the public’s interest in securing justice and protecting legal rights while learning trial practice. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin Law School, Mr. Blinka gained felony trial experience as a volunteer prosecutor in the Violent Crimes Unit of the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office. During law school, Mr. Blinka was a student attorney for the Wisconsin Innocence Project, where he helped to advance the project’s mission to correct weaknesses in the criminal justice system. He contributed to three cases that resulted in the release of individuals found to be wrongfully convicted.
