Diane L. Thompson is a life-long resident of Saginaw. She is married and the mother of four children. Diane graduated from Saginaw Valley State University and attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where she received her Juris Doctorate in 1999. She was admitted to the Michigan State Bar in 2000, is admitted in the U.S. District Court, Eastern Division, and is a member of the Saginaw County Bar Association. She has served on the Board of Directors for Guardianship Services of Saginaw County, Inc., from 2000 to present. Diane handles debt/collections and represents Saginaw Township as an assistant prosecutor regarding traffic offenses. She also serves as a contract and appellate attorney for Saginaw County- Family Division and handles child abuse and neglect cases, appeals regarding the termination of parental rights, along with mental health hearings on behalf of Saginaw County Probate Court.
