Donald G. Scott
Don Scott practices primarily in the areas of commercial litigation and financial reorganization with experience in civil litigation at both the trial and appellate court levels. He is experienced in complex business and commercial disputes; franchising; intellectual property, including patent, trademark, and trade secrets; business torts and fraud; employment covenants; debtors' and creditors' rights in bankruptcy; replevins; post-employment covenants; products liability; construction law; and insurance coverage.
For more than 30 years, Mr. Scott has represented creditors and debtors in Chapter 11 reorganization proceedings; debtors and debtors-in-possession in continued management and operation of businesses and properties; actions to recover estate assets; and litigation of objections to claims, automatic stays, nondischargeability, and preferences. He coordinates with United States Trustees in compliance with reporting requirements and debtor-in-possession accounts.
