Donna L. Kerfoot
Donna L. Kerfoot was born in Sigourney, Iowa. She graduatedsumma cum laudefrom the University of Iowa with a B.A. in Psychology and Sociology and an M.S.W. in Social Work. She earned a J.D. cum laude at Stetson University College of Law.
Donna served as a Judicial Aide to the Second District Court of Appeal following graduation from law school. She also has extensive experience in clinical and medical social work, a background useful in evaluating claims of psychological and medical injury in workers' compensation cases and in handling family law and employment issues. She combines this background with four years of experience as a college instructor in criminal justice.
Since 1985, Donna has practiced primarily in the area of Florida workers' compensation defense. She has also practiced in other areas, including family and employment law. Her experience includes trial and appellate work. Donna has presented seminars on workers' compensation matters to employers and claims professionals. She has also provided pro bono representation for the Guardian Ad Litem Program.
