Dulce M. Plaza
Attorney Dulce Plaza practices in the areas of workers’ compensation and social security disability. She was born in Ecuador and is fluent in Spanish, which allows her to focus on assisting the Hispanic community. She takes a personal interest in guiding Spanish speaking clients through the legal process.
Dulce graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2009, and received her J.D. from the Charlotte School of Law in 2014. During law school, Dulce served as Vice President of the Order of the Crown Honor Society; was a member of the Moot Court Board; and was a student attorney in the Immigration Clinical Lab.
Dulce has a passion for pro bono matters and currently volunteers with the Mecklenburg County Bar (“MCB”) Pro Bono for Nonprofits Program, where she helps nonprofit corporations with legal services including drafting bylaws, articles of incorporation and conflict of interest policies, and with other matters related to business law. She has also volunteered for the Habitat for Humanity Wills Clinic organized by the MCB Young Lawyers Division.
Dulce enjoys spending her time with her family, as well as with her dogs Scooby, Lady and Dior. Her hobbies include golf, tennis and hiking.
