Elizabeth Houlding is an experienced trial attorney who has handled a broad range of complex civil trials and appeals in state and federal courts. She has represented clients in jury and non-jury trials involving the defense of professional malpractice and premises liability claims. Her practice also involves defending employers in employment litigation, including claims of discrimination, hostile work environment, wage and hour violations, wrongful termination, and retaliation in state and federal court as well as administrative agencies, including the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD) and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). She has extensive experience in every stage of litigation, and enjoys counseling clients throughout the process, from inception to trial, and is equally adept at helping clients reach solutions through alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and conciliation proceedings. Before attending law school, Ms. Houlding was a college professor of French literature.
