EVAN T. MAROWITZ joined the firm in September 2002 and brought with him extensive trial experience. He concentrates his practice on medical malpractice, general and premises liability, as well as criminal and probate litigation. Over the course of his career, Mr. Marowitz has tried over 60 cases to verdict. He set new precedent in Florida when he tried the widely publicized case State of Florida v. Mills. He often speaks to healthcare providers, insurance professionals and risk managers about changes in the law that affect their respective professions.Mr. Marowitz was born in Livingston, New Jersey. He has resided in Florida since 1981. He attended Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana on a full academic scholarship and received a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature in 1996. He attended the University of Akron College of Law on a full academic scholarship and received his Juris Doctor degree in May 1999.
