Rick graduated from the University of Virginia in 1970, taught high school and coached football at Kempsville H.S. in Virginia Beach, Va. for one year and then attended Ohio Northern University School of Law where he graduated with honors in 1974. He began practice in Hampton, Va. in the Spring of 1974, specializing in criminal defense, civil litigation, and family law. Rick has practiced in all state courts on the Peninsula and South Side and has argued a number of cases before the Virginia Court of Appeals, Virginia Supreme Court, the Federal District Court, and the Federal Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is an Adjunct Professor at the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary, member of the Virginia Bar Association, Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and the Williamsburg Bar Association. Rick is the senior partner at Moschel, Clancy & Walter, P.L.L.C. and specializes in Family Law Litigation.
