Germaine Austin is an Associate in the Litigation Section of Thomas Kennedy Sampson & Tompkins LLP. Currently, his principal areas of practice include wrongful death, personal injury, insurance defense, medical malpractice, and premises liability.
He joined the United States Army in 2002 and served as a Human Resource Sergeant for eight (8) years. Germaine graduated Magna cum laude from North Carolina Central University with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Political Science and a degree in English Literature. While at North Carolina Central University, Germaine Served as the President of the Civic Engagement Task Force, President of Phi Alpha Delta Pre Law Society and President of Common Cause’s Political Reform Club. Germaine was also a member of the NCCU Cross Country team and Track team. He received an award for the Athlete with the highest grade point average and was selected for the Second All American Conference Track and Field team. Throughout his tenure at NCCU, Germaine was on the Dean’s List all four years and a member of the Honor Society.
