Gretchen Hoog


Gretchen is a general litigator whose practice focuses on representing businesses and individuals in commercial disputes and personal injury matters. She joined PCS in 2015 after working for five years at Lane Powell, where she was a member of the Complex Litigation practice group.

Her extensive legal experience includes trying cases to verdict in jury trials involving claims of medical malpractice and corporate negligence. Gretchen has also represented businesses in complex patent litigation in federal courts in Washington, New Jersey and Texas, and has further experience with transactional intellectual property matters, including drafting license and distribution agreements.

Gretchen graduated magna cum laude from Pacific Lutheran University in 2006 with a degree in Social Work and attended Seattle University School of Law where she received her JD, summa cum laude, in 2010. While attending law school, Gretchen was a Lead Article Editor for the SU Law Review and served as a judicial extern for Judge Leighton of the Federal District Court for the Western District of Washington in Tacoma. She is currently an adjunct professor at Seattle University School of Law.
