Heather Stansbury was born in Baltimore, Maryland. After attending Towson University for college, Ms. Stansbury graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2004. Upon graduation from law school, Ms. Stansbury served as the judicial law clerk for the Honorable Joseph F. Murphy, Chief Judge of the Maryland Court of Special Appeals from 2004 to 2005. In 2005, Ms. Stansbury relocated with her husband to the Ocean City area and joined the law firm of Ayres, Jenkins, Gordy & Almand, P.A. as an Associate and became a Principal in 2012.
Ms. Stansbury focuses her practice in the area of family law and criminal law. She is a trained mediator and is trained in Collaborative Law. Ms. Stansbury also practices in the area of trusts and estates, civil litigation, landlord/tenant matters and engages in Will preparation.
