Ian K. Linnabary
Ian Linnabary is a partner at Reno & Zahm LLP where he has practiced since graduating from law school in 2002. His practice is devoted primarily to the representation of businesses, individuals and organizations (including public and private entities) in a wide range of civil matters involving contractual issues, business transactions, corporate governance, real estate development and zoning, municipal law and school law. Relying on his background in politics, Mr. Linnabary also devotes a significant amount of his practice to governmental relations and election law.
A native of Winnebago County, Mr. Linnabary graduated from Dakota High School in 1991. He attended the University of Illinois at Springfield and graduated in 1996 with a B.A. in political studies. After graduation, he worked full-time as a political operative working throughout Illinois on state and federal campaigns. He later received his J.D., cum laude, from the Northern Illinois University College of Law in 2002. Mr. Linnabary is admitted to practice before the State Courts of Illinois and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Throughout his legal career, Mr. Linnabary has represented individuals and businesses at all stages of business development, from inception to wind-down. His business clients range from large, publicly-held corporations to small businesses and sole proprietors. He also has experience advising municipalities, units of local government and other governmental bodies such as municipalities, counties, townships, school districts and park districts.
