J. Cole Sartin
J. Cole Sartin is from Orange, Texas. Cole graduated cum laude from Lamar University in 2003 with a degree in Finance. He received his J.D. from South Texas College of Law in 2012, graduating cum laude.
While attending South Texas College of Law, Cole participated in the advocacy program. He received awards that include: Best Brief, Leroy Jeffers Moot Court Competition, 2010; Finalist, Best Brief, Giles Sutherland Rich Moot Court Competition, (Houston Regional) 2011; Finalist, Best Brief, Mack Kidd Administrative Moot Court Competition, 2011; Boston Regional Champion, American Bar Association National Appellate Advocacy Competition, 2012; and National Best Brief Award (4th place), American Bar Association National Appellate Advocacy Competition, 2012. Cole was inducted into the National Order of Scribes in 2012. He was also a member of the Order of Lytae.
After law school, Cole served as law clerk to the Honorable Jeanette Garrett and the Honorable Scott Crichton at the First Judicial District Court in Caddo Parish, Louisiana in 2012-2013. He focuses his practice on plaintiffs’ personal injury law.
