Mr. Boucher received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business in 1964, and his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School in 1967. He also is a graduate of the National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University (1977). He was admitted to the Michigan Bar in 1968.Jim joined our firm in 2008 upon his retirement as Senior Vice President of JP Morgan Chase (formerly National Bank of Detroit) after 40 years in the Trust business.Jim specializes in the administration of large and complex estates and trusts. He brings added expertise in fiduciary law, taxation and accounting as well as experience in dealing with closely held businesses, real estate, art and antiques, estate planning, achieving family harmony in wealth transfer and in fiduciary litigation matters. Jim’s practice with our firm will focus on these areas of specialization and expertise.
