James M. "Matt" Tyrone was admitted to the Mississippi Bar in 2006. His litigation practice is primarily devoted to products liability cases, catastrophic commercial or industrial accident cases, and attorney malpractice litigation for both the plaintiff and defense bar. Over multiple jurisdictions, Matt has represented clients in lawsuits concerning a variety of different commercial and consumer products, including manufacturers of pipeline filtration equipment, welding consumables, tobacco, and others. Matt has also represented numerous clients throughout Mississippi and other states in catastrophic commercial or industrial accidents, such as serious burn cases, pipeline accidents and explosions, and lead exposure cases. This practice often requires immediate, on-the-ground response to catastrophic events, accidents, or claims, and in assisting clients through the various related issues, such as government and agency investigations by OSHA, the Chemical Safety Board, EPA and other agencies, in-house accident investigations, and navigating insurance coverage disputes attendant to such accidents.
