James O'C. Gentry. Jr.
James O'Conor Gentry Jr. is a seasoned trial attorney with over thirty years experience in the legal arena. Mr. Gentry has tried over 120 jury trials. While serving as a police officer for nine years, Gentry obtained an M.A. degree in law and forensic science from George Washington University. He then graduated from the University of Baltimore Law School where he earned his Juris Doctorate. While at Baltimore, he was presented with the American Jurisprudence Award for Excellence. Mr. Gentry joined the Baltimore County State's Attorney's Office where he litigated numerous high profile cases. As a prosecutor, he developed a unique combination of expertise in the use of computer technology and graphics at trial, which he now applies to the firm's complex medical malpractice and catastrophic injury cases. Mr. Gentry has been the subject of an August 20, 2006 feature article in the Baltimore Sun, where he was called a "pioneer in the use of technology in the courtroom.
