Before joining the firm, Jeff served as law clerk to the Honorable James H. Hancock and the Honorable R. David Proctor, both of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama. He graduated magna cum laude from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. While in law school, Jeff earned the top grade in sixteen classes, including Appellate Advocacy, Civil Procedure, Complex Litigation, and Federal Courts. Additionally, he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Cumberland Law Review and as a teaching assistant in the first-year research and writing program. He graduated cum laude from Tulane University with a degree in accounting.
