Jennifer M. Hoekstra
Jennifer M. Hoekstra joined the firm in 2007. A native of Saint Paul, Minnesota, Ms. Hoekstra boasts an impressive academic and professional record, including graduation from two of the nation’s top schools. Jennifer was inspired to pursue her law degree while working as a Litigation Assistant at a high profile law firm in New York City. She came to Louisiana to attend Tulane Law School in New Orleans, where she earned her J.D. While attending Tulane, Jennifer received Gary Lawton Fretwell Crest Award, served as the Senior Articles Editor for the Tulane Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property and earned a certificate in Environmental Law. Jennifer has earned a solid reputation as a skilled writer and researcher, and plays an integral role in the firm’s complex litigation section. She has recently relocated from New Orleans to our main office in Alexandria. In addition to her legal abilities, Jennifer is also highly active in the community. She volunteers with the Boys and Girls Club of America and maintains an active membership in the Young Leadership Council of New Orleans.
