Ms. Prunty is a Native Nevadan who was raised on a ranch in Elko County at the base of the beautiful Ruby Mountains. She attended the University of Nevada, Reno and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics. From there, she attended Willamette College of Law in Oregon. While in law school, she served as a note editor for the school’s law review. Following her graduation, she returned to Nevada to clerk for the distinguished district court judge Michael Griffin, now retired. Ms. Prunty joined the firm in 2000 and became a partner in 2009. Since 2005, she has served as a contributing editor for the Western Water Law & Policy Reporter.Ms. Prunty has a broad-based civil practice, with a focus on the practice areas below.
