Jim H. Wilson’s civil litigation practice is concentrated in business and commercial litigation. He is a 1996 graduate of The University of Alabama School of Law, where he served as Student Works Editor of the Law & Psychology Review, was a member of Bench and Bar Legal Honor Society and served as a Senator for the Student Bar Association. Jim also received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from The University of Alabama. After graduating law school, Jim returned to his hometown of Birmingham to practice with a litigation firm where he handled cases in both State and Federal Courts involving insurance claims and employment-law claims and litigated subrogation claims on behalf of a large, regional insurer for the northern half of Alabama. Jim joined LSP in 1999 and has since focused his practice on complex commercial disputes, real estate and title insurance litigation and employment litigation. Jim has prosecuted and defended claims on behalf of corporate clients arising from contractual disputes and business torts in both State and Federal Courts and frequently advises clients on employment issues.
