John Kokish is an attorney of significant experience, having started his legal career in 1969. He represents clients in a variety of practice areas, including real estate, business and commercial law, civil litigation, family law, construction law, wills, landlord tenant matters, and mediation/arbitration. Mr. Kokish is admitted to practice in the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals 10th Circuit, Colorado, the U.S. District Court District of Colorado, and all state courts of Colorado. Mr. Kokish has served as an assistant county attorney for Douglas County, Colorado.
Mr. Kokish served as president of the Douglas/Elbert County Bar Association and as a member of the board of governors of the Colorado Bar Association. Mr. Kokish has been a member of the Governor’s Commission on Judicial Performance of the Eighteenth Judicial District and the panel of arbitrators of the American Arbitration Association. Mr. Kokish also authors a regular column on real estate and business law in the Douglas County New Press and its affiliate newspapers.
