n equity partner since 1998, John has advised clients in a wide variety of complex litigation matters for 30 years. He has represented individuals and businesses in merger and acquisition disputes, purchase price adjustment and earn out disputes, commercial real estate and development disputes, ERISA claims, fraud and deceptive business practices, minority shareholder and partnership disputes, environmental liabilities, and employment disputes, among others. He also counsels creditors in business bankruptcies, including banks and commercial landlords, potential purchasers in bankruptcy asset sales. John has won major victories at the trial and appellate level in state and federal courts for his clients.
John began his career as a law clerk for the Honorable W. Arthur Garrity, Jr., of the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and then for many years worked as an associate in the litigation and bankruptcy departments at Ropes & Gray in Boston.
