Jon M. Hogelin is a graduate of Brigham Young University’s J. Reuben Clark School of Law. Mr. Hogelin also received his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University (Political Science) and his associate’s degree from Utah Valley University (Engineering). While in law school, Mr. Hogelin served on the Moot Court Board of Advocates, where he competed in Washington D.C., and on the Education and Law Journal Editorial Board. He published an article in the Brigham Young University Education and Law Journal titled “To Prevent And To Protect: The Reporting Of Child Abuse By Educators.” He also provided research as an assistant for Professor Shima Baradaran in the area of criminal law.Mr. Hogelin’s experience includes a decade in the legal industry. He has worked in many areas of law, including commercial & civil litigation, business formations, criminal defense, real estate, wills & trusts, debt collection, personal injury and bankruptcy. During law school, he clerked for firms in Salt Lake City and Park City, while also externing for the Honorable Dee Benson of the United States Federal Court.
