Jose Pete Font
Jose P. Font is a managing attorney of the Broward office and specializes in the representation of corporations and insurance companies, focusing on matters involving first party and third party property claims, wrongful death, SIU investigations, general liability, PIP claims, and various complex insurance coverage issues. Jose has gained experience representing multiple clients both at the trial level and the appellate level. Numerous trial verdicts in his favor as well as appellate decisions have been published in Florida Law Weekly, the Southern Reporter and the Verdict Reporter.
In 2001, he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida International University, with a major in criminal justice. In the Fall of 2001, he attended St. Thomas University Law School and participated in the school’s accelerated program. As a result of his academic excellence, a merit scholarship was awarded for all semesters. Jose then graduated from St. Thomas University in the fall of 2003 with the Law School’s highest honor, Valedictorian. While attending law school Jose was an active member and editor of the School’s Law Review as well as a member of the Moot Court Team. During law school, Jose was able to reach the final rounds of a national moot court competition which was sponsored by the American University School of Law.
