Joseph Indusi is a lifelong resident of New York who graduated in the Top 10 of his law school class. As part of his legal studies, Mr. Indusi spent a summer studying International Human Rights and Civil Rights in Israel. Mr. Indusi graduated law school summa cum laude, was on the Dean’s list, was a Faculty Fellow, the Student Bar Association President and a staff member of the International Law Review.
Mr. Indusi has represented clients in various courtrooms throughout New York in administrative, civil and criminal proceedings. Mr. Indusi has conducted nearly a hundred pre-trial hearings in Criminal and Supreme Court resulting in the suppression of evidence and the dismissal of cases. Mr. Indusi has tried nearly a dozen misdemeanor and felony jury trials all ending in acquittals, with a specific focus on cases involving allegations of Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) or mistaken identification. Mr. Indusi has also made contributions to the Innocence Project Working ID group to help assist lawyers prevent convictions in cases involving mistaken identification. Mr. Indusi has handled cases in Family Court, Criminal Court, Supreme Court, and Federal District Court.
