Attorney Juan Baltierres, a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Prior to law school, Mr. Baltierres was employed by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services as a Child Protection Investigator where he investigated hundreds of allegations of reported child abuse/ neglect. Mr. Baltierres would go on to serve as both a parole agent, and later as a parole supervisor. Both positions as an sworn law enforcement officer for the Illinois Department of Corrections. While in law school, Mr. Baltierres interned for the Cook County Public Defender's Office. Mr. Baltierres received his Juris Doctorate degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School with a concentration in Litigation. Mr. Baltierres is the principal at Baltierres Law, P.C., a Chicago area practice concentrating in criminal defense and family law matters.
